Hi,

I am new here and also on the same boat. I filed my dependents under F2A in Aug' 2013 and would like to join with you all on the progress. I am also waiting for the interview date, hope to hear from them soon. Good luck to all !

08/08/2013: I-485, I-131 & I-765 Sent
08/09/2013: I-485, I-131 & I-765 Delivered
08/13/2013: Receipt date
09/16/2013: Biometrics DONE as scheduled

09/24/2013: Status update to Testing/Interview

I sent my concurrent application on Aug 25 2013. Here is my timeline so far:

08/25/2013 mailed in with Express mail

08/26/2013 received in Chicago

08/30/2013 checks went through

09/03/2013 email and text notifications

09/07/2013 three NOAs received in mail

09/09/2013 biometrics appointment letter received for 09/25/2013

09/11/2013 walk in biometrics done

09/25/2013 email notification of the case status going to "Testing and Interview"

But my I-765 and I-130 are still in "Initial Review" status. Is it how it is supposed to be?

Mine is the same. :-)

Very exciting , hopefully within a couple of weeks well have our interview dates.

Probably only have the work permit a couple of weeks before we get our green card, i wont Evan have time to apply for a job lol

2013-08-20 (DAY 8) Noa1 received via Text around 11pm, next day was email. Received my case numbers

2013-08-23 (Day 11)- received hard copy in mail for Noa1 gc , Work permit

2013-08-30 (Day 18) Received Biometrics appointment letter in the mail.

2013-09-17 (Day 25) biometrics appointment day @2pm Detriot

2013-09-25 (Day 33) received text and email , I485 changed to testing and interview

2013-10-02 (Day 40) received text message and email @7am about my interview date

2013-10-04 (Day 42) Received hard copy interview letter in the mail

2013-10-10 (Day 48) Work permit Card in production

2013-10-16 (Day 54) 2nd Text and email @830am Work permit in Production

2013-10-21 (Day 59) text/email notice 10am . Work Permit sent

2013-10-21(Day 59)Text/ email @9pm received text with tracking number -2 day delievery

2013-10-24(Day 62) received my work permit in the mail.

Can anyone give an opinion about my case? rs

I received a RFE and on the day that I sent it back my status changed to Interview and testing. The package is expected to arrive there only tomorrow.

We received a RFE asking for more financial documents to prove we don't need a co-sponsor. My husband make enough money but he got this new job in July only. Maybe they re review our case and figured this out. Anyway we sent the documents with the same co-sponsor we had for the k1.

My worry is they change the status back to RFE review after they receive the package. After how many days in testing/interview did you receive the interview date?

I noticed from your signature timeline that early biometrics did speed things up for you. I suspect it did for others as well.

It could be. My status changed on the original date of my biometrics.

I'll start to go through the documents for the interview. I'm afraid we don't have that much documents. Even pictures. We basically sit home or spend time together, so we don't have pics together - there is simply no one to get them for us

May I ask, If you got married in 2011 on a K-1, why have you only now filed to adjust status and employment authorization? Can you stay in the US for 2 years without adjusting status from a K-1?
