It seems like many of us are in the same boat. Another gay couple here applying for AOS from F-1 student visa. I also received e-mail and txt notifications with MSC confirmation numbers, but my cases are not yet available online. The e-mails did say to wait until you receive hard copies of Forms I-797 in the mail to check the status, so I am guessing it takes a while for them to become viewable online. Good luck to everyone!

I hope if you give it another 24 hrs. you may be able to see it online.

When I did my AOS the 485 stayed in acceptance until after the biometrics were done. Then it moved to initial review. I wouldn't be worried about that part until after you have done your biometrics. That is when they will really start reviewing your case. Until then, they are just checking that all the forms needed are there. The deep dive is done once the background check is completed.

All in due time and with patience my friends. I have my fingers crossed that the process will be much quicker for all. Maybe a GC by Thanksgiving for all of us eh? :)
