Hi megankate... my DL is also expiring soon and haven't received the EAD yet.

I went to the DMV and showed them the i485 receipt notice but they didn't extend it. I guess you will also jave to wait until you get tour EAD.

Received Email notification on 9/24/2013 that I-485 been moved from Acceptance to Testing and Interview!

Thank God. I am so happy! One step at a time!

Anyone knows what I should bring during my interview or do I need to get additional documents at all just to be ready? :)

Good luck to all!

July 29, 2013 : Package sent to Chicago Lockbox.

August 1, 2013 : USPS confirmed package has been delivered.
August 5,2013:got e_mail/text notification for all 3 forms.

August 6,2013:Checks cashed.

August 8, 2013 : NOA received for all three applications.

August 12,2013:Just received biometrics appointment letter in the mail,for Sept.5.

August 21,2013:Biometrics done.

September 03, 2013 : Email/Text notification for I-485, stating that it is in the "Testing and Interview" stage.

September 25,2013:Card production ordered for EAD.

October 3,2013: EAD card mailed.

October 5, 2013: EAD card received

November 27th,2013:received text ,e-mail notification for interview date for Jan .3rd

You know I am just a week ahead of your timeline. I am still waiting for the interview date notice... it's been a week now since my I-485 has been changed to Testing & Review. Aaah I'm getting so anxious!

08/12/2013 - USCIS received my 3 applications (I-130, I-485 & I-765)


08/19/2013 - I received hard copies of the 3 receipts via mail


08/26/2013 - I received Biometrics appointment notice via mail


09/10/2013 - Scheduled Biometrics

So you were informed of the Interview date via email and text? Through the email they sent me last night, i will know the sched via mail. Maybe it differs. hmmmm....

Anyhow, I am happy for you. Tell us about your experience on the interview ok?
