First of all i wanna say thanks to all VJ members who read my topics and adviced us the right way what to do, thank you folks for your great, helpful posts!! Without your help we couldnt do it!!!

We filed in December 2012, after the useless calls to USCIS and long waiting we thought something really wrong with our case and my husband sent a letter to Senator and after 2 weeks we got approved! Senator and his assistant were really kind with us and helpful.

Special thanks to the member "KDH- The Mean Lady" She advised us to contact to senator R.Durbin and even she attached his webpage link,

You are all here very kind and helpful

08/23/2008: Married

07/11/2012: I returned to the U.S. with our 2 children. Started working.

08/01/2012 - 01/01/2013: Talked to various lawyers; saved for lawyer filing fee - complete waste of time.

02/01/2013: Found VisaJourney

02/14/2013: Mailed paperwork to Chicago Lockbox

02/21/2013: NOA 1

06/17/2013: INFOPASS

11/19/2013: NOA 2

7/31/2013 - NOA2 approved

8/5/2013 - NOA2 hard copy received

8/16/2013 - NVC received

8-21-2013 - case number received

8-23-2013 - sent to the embassy

8-27-2013 - Embassy received

9-28-2013 - Packet 3 received in the state by petitioner(my husband now)

10-7-2013 - medical exam done

10-23-2013 - packet 3 sent out

10-29-2013 - packet 4 received

11-21-2013 - interview date(approved)

1-23-2014 - passport received

1-24-2014 - fl LAuderdale intl airport

3-14-2014 - Married

6-17-2014 - AOS / EAD sent out

7-21-2014 - Biometrics appointment

9-4-2014 - EAD approved

9-8-2014 - EAD card received in mail yeahhhhhh / received mail with second biometrics appointment

9-12-2014 - Biometrics done for the 2nd time

9-28-2014 - Interview waiver letter received in mail

4-24-2015 - email received ( residence card in production ) yayyyyy thanks God!!!!!

Immigrant fee paid on ELIS - Jan 24th

POE - Jan 25th

Update on GC and SSN

(as of March 14th, 2014)

ELIS status - Closed (Card produced)

USCIS case check with receipt number (starts with IOE) - Card delivered in the mail

SSN - Received (Went to SSA location to apply for one)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

N-400 Naturalization Process

N-400 package mailed in - Nov 7th

Payment posted on cc account - Nov 10th

NOA (hard copy) - Nov 14th

Biometrics - Dec 7th

In Line - Dec 27th
