Dear vj frnds,i was about to fill out ds 230.Here Question 23 n 28 says "if deceased, give year of death".My parents are alive,so should i write N/A here or leave it blank.I got to know that we shouldn't leave any question blank.

My another question is can i fill out some missing part of this form using pen as i have completed most of the part by pdf reader.

Always appreciate ur response guys.

Write N/A if both of your parents are alive. It's better to fill each section with an answer so they can be sure you didn't accidentally skip a question. Also, it's ok if you fill out missing parts using pen, even though the rest of the form was completed on the computer. Just make sure to use black ink and write neatly in print, not cursive.
