My spouse is applying for employment authorization (I-765) simultaneously with I-130, I-485, I-131 (AOS from F1).

Question #10 of form I-765 asks for Alien Registration Number or I-94 Number... and he has both. Should I put both? (Note: others have pointed that this site, http://internationalcenter.umich.edu/immig/fvisa/Filling%20Out%20the%20I-765%20for%20STEM.pdf , says to put the A#, the I-94 # ...AND... the SEVIS number).

Note: he has both because he worked before through OPT: his old (now expired) EAD card has his A# on it. His most recent I-94 form has the I-94 number on it. And of course he has a SEVIS number from numerous F-1 papers.

Thank you!

USC and spouse went through AOS from F1

Now, removing conditions on permanent resident status.

I was in same situation coming from F1- opt (valid) and applying AOS thru spouse. You have to fill A# if you have it, (which you do & i did as well), if you don't have it or not sure then current I-94.

They are going to assign a new A# anyways.

Nolo.com has a walkthrough of every important question on all forms, if they don't have it, its coz its straightforward or doesn't matter too much.
