Hi. We both same situation. My fiancée called last night and it looks like they need more additional evidence. This is what we are trying to know if anyone knows what other additional evidence they want.

It seems that is what happened when USCIS is ready to update your case, based on what others have said on VJ.

I think it can mean approval soon or possibly an RFE too.

But in any case, your file is being 'touched' - so it's a good thing.

@JayMari - If USCIS needs additional evidence, they will issue a RFE and notify you on what they need and how to submit them. If there's no RFE, I don't think you can offer additional evidence once the application is being processed.

Hi all, Yes same thing happened to us in May and then I received the letter Request for Evidence (RFE). The emphasized wanting more evidence of relationship and especially the last time I visited my fiancée in Philippines. My last visit was for 1 month so we had lots of photos but they wanted other evidence with time stamps like plane tickets and boarding passes with both our names, hotels and other events showing our time together and my flight eticket from California to Philippines. We also had a letter from a Catholic priest we planned to use for our Interview but I sent that also to the California Service Center. I only had 1 photo with both of us that had a time and date stamp. We also had a letter from my fiancées father that was translated from Visayan to English you need to have a translators statement with any translations.

My fiancées interview is August 13, 2013....very soon and she is getting excited.

Best of luck always

Niall

Hi thanks for the reply appreciated much.... How long will it take just in case if they ask for RFE? (Hopefully they won't ask) as we already submitted the required evidence like photos of us together, photocopy of plane tickets, letter how we met, affidavit of support etc... Just curious what any other evidence they want . Do we need to send more photos with the date stamp on it? We only sent them like 3-4 as that the only number that they asked but we do have a lot of photos of us together. Thank you guys and good luck to us. I'm excited too.... Can't wait to have this done lots of patience....like they'd said for those who've waited a lot, waiting more is nothing.
