may i ask you a question related to police certificate: in delhi consulate , did they ask for both passport police certificate and local police certificate ? or only the passport police certificate.

Omg ok so its 1:00am here in Florida and so basically our interview is tomorrow and thats why I'm up because I can't sleep! And I'm EXTREMELY nervous!! Omg I've never been so nervous in my life!! Please guys I do not want to be placed in AP so pray for us!!! I literally have my stomach in knots!!!

I'm curious if anyone here has information for our situation. We were stuck in NVC hell and recently our request for expedite was accepted by NVC from our attorney. When I called they said that they have mailed our packet off to the consulate in Moscow and I have seen the status of "In Transit" in CEAC and can track the package via DHL

Where we are confused is to how and when the interview will be scheduled in our case as normally that occurs before the packet is sent. We did not get any confirmation emails yet (likely will today) so maybe there will be more information in there.

So in short, has anyone else had an expedite at NVC without following the standard case complete path?

2012-11-20: Married in USA!

CR-1 Visa (9 Months, 16 Days)
2013-01-21: I-130 Packet Sent
2013-01-29: NOA1
2013-03-25: NOA2
2013-07-08: NVC Case Number Generated
2013-08-21: Medical exam in Moscow
2013-09-17: Expedite request accepted by NVC. Packet forwarded to Moscow embassy.
2013-09-26: Embassy contacted Rita to schedule her interview. Scheduled for 2013-09-30!
2013-09-30: Interview in Moscow - APPROVED!!
2013-10-10: P.O.E. JFK Int'l
2013-11-06: CR-1 Green card in hand!

Only Passport Police certificate is required.

Our Visa was APPROVED! Thank you everyone for your help and support during this insane process, we couldn't of done it without VJ. It was so cool to see a fellow VJ'er at the Montreal Consualte, it was awesome because we had the edge on everyone else who was there, we knew exactly what to do. I will be putting up my review once I get back home to Florida. Xo

I wonder if you saw my wife... She also mentioned meeting another VJ'er.

Her visa is now listed as issued! Now we just get to obsessively check her passport tracking number...

Just heard from my wife. WE GOT APPROVED!!! Thanks to everyone on VJ for your help! Finally an end to this long journey. Will post a review once I can talk to my wife properly (she is calling her family and on her way back from the embassy right now)
