Alright finally the time is here. Enjoy breathe have fun. Interview will be nothing. You'll be back here tomorrow and tell us "what was all the worry for". Have a restful blissful evening.

Our Visa was APPROVED! Thank you everyone for your help and support during this insane process, we couldn't of done it without VJ. It was so cool to see a fellow VJ'er at the Montreal Consualte, it was awesome because we had the edge on everyone else who was there, we knew exactly what to do. I will be putting up my review once I get back home to Florida. Xo

I'm confused!!! So I will be returning to the states with my husband but once we arrive to the airport but before we go through immigration they always have two lines, one line is for US citizens and residents and the other is for tourist and visa holders. So my question is can I go with my husband to the tourist/visa holder line or do we have to part ways when we go through immigration? Or can he come with me to the US citizen line? I want to be with my husband when he goes through immigration. lol

Thanks for your response in advance!

Ellie

go with your husband

or better yet pick the shortest line because you will go into a secondary interview for a few minutes.. will be in a separate room usually

I posted in the wrong place again. sorry for that. Here is what I posted.

Hello everyone well the interview is over now. We have been placed in AP. With the following things to be meet.

1. I must come for an interview. Manditory set for Oct 2013.

2. Husband must get more papers about marriage in Greece, for the Athens Consulet

3. Husband must get not just a certified police record. Now it is manditory to get a penial code record certified and it must go right to the consulate.

4. They don't like the IRS letters about past three years taxes, so they now want the original 1040 that was filed to the IRS.

5. They want everything from the day we meet to just before I go there.

I am 10 yrs older then him will we ever be together? We have known each other almost four years and we have been married one year now..

To God be the glory always.

To God be the glory always.

Sorry to hear of the AP. But I think I saw this posted in the NVC filers thread and they said just get everything together. They just want to check the validity of some things. Sometimes interviewing in countries other than than your own can do this.

1. I must come for an interview. Manditory set for Oct 2013.

Okay doable I pray for you. get those frequent miles out.

2. Husband must get more papers about marriage in Greece, for the Athens Consulet

What else they want besides a marriage certificate?

3. Husband must get not just a certified police record. Now it is manditory to get a penial code record certified and it must go right to the consulate.

Penal code was he ever in jail or prison

4. They don't like the IRS letters about past three years taxes, so they now want the original 1040 that was filed to the IRS.

Now this one has me shaking my head. Like huh its all there or they questioning the authenticity of the transcripts??

5. They want everything from the day we meet to just before I go there.

Get those evidence out. here's a list to think of some things you haven't yet.

I am 10 yrs older then him will we ever be together?

10 years is nothing. You will be together just a delay not a denial. Keep chin up dear.

Bonafide Evidence suggestions

1. Evidence of Communication Before and After Marriage

  • Phone bills showing who called whom
  • Letters
  • Greeting cards

  • Delivery receipts (of gifts you send each other)

2. Evidence of Visits / Vacations / Meeting in Person

  • Boarding passes
  • Passport stamps
  • Hotel receipts with both your names
  • Vacation / honeymoon photos
  • Receipts or bank statements showing remote ATM withdrawals (to show you were pulling money from that location at such time)

3. Evidence of Co-habitation During Marriage

  • Birth certificates of any children born to you together
  • Mortgage loan contract or lease contract with both partners’ names in it
  • Utility bills with both partners’ names
  • Receipts with both partners’ names in shipping/billing address
  • Pictures of you two living together

4. Evidence of Joint Ownership of Assets and Shared Financial Responsibility

  • Joint bank account statements
  • Proof of joint credit card use
  • Money transfer receipts
  • Power of Attorney
  • Wills (never used this)
  • Utility bills
  • Life insurance policy showing spouse as beneficiary
  • Health insurance
  • Car insurance

5. Photographic Evidence

  • Photos of you two together
  • Photos of you two with family (such as wedding, parties, kids’ graduation, etc.)
  • Photos of you two in various locations and times

6. Evidence from Others in Support of Bona Fide Marriage

  • Sworn affidavits of friends and/or family
  • Letters/cards from friends and/or family
