NOA2 hard copy received!!pls help

Hello everybody,

I need ypur help pls!I'm confused,I thought my approved petition is going to NVC next but I guess not or I might be wrong.

So today I got my NOA2 hard copy and it's says:

"The above petition has been approved,and forwarded to the listed consulate.Please contact the consulate with any questions about visa issuance...etc"...

Did anybody get the same thing like us?Should I contact my consulate from now on or should I call NVC?

In my letter doesn't say anything about NVC.

Any advice?suggestions?

We had the same on our noa 2 ... after 2 weeks you should start and call NVC for case # .. we got our case # after 1 month from noa 1 ...you will receive an email from uscis when they will send your file to the NVC . Time for you to get together the papers for the interview . Good luck !

Fax the embassy to request provisional file sent to your fiancee. See example forms link on this website. Fax Letter and Approval letter. This will save you a couple weeks.

This is absolutely normal for the K1 visa. It will go to the National Visa Center first, then be forwarded to the consulate. Contact the NVC about 2 weeks after you get the NOA2. They can give you a case number and let you know when it is forwarded to the Embassy. If you contact the Embassy before it is forwarded, they will not know about your case yet.

The wording of the NOA2 for K1 is weird, but then again... It is the Government
