This is true, I watched some old Chris Rock this weekend since Eddie Murphy got the treatment last week. I realize he isn't doing anything more than telling a story with a dramatic effect. His voice and delivery is what makes it funny.

My wife hates noise, I get irratated but I deal since I am used to it. Some places we can't even eat because she'll be like, I don't want to be there so we leave.

Because people don't like it. It's like growing your hair long in the 60s or whatever. They're trying to prove some rebellious point that I'm sure they don't even know what it is. It's really not functional when you have to walk around and use one of your hands to constantly hold your pants up. It's pretty discriminatory against one armed people as well if you ask me. Maybe I'll invent some suspenders for saggy pants that I can sell with an ADA approval stamp.

That's not what I said, so I can't really respond to that.

Zimmerman, of course, has and had a right to walk wherever he wanted (though I think people were more concerned about intent rather than specific actions), but again, that's not what I was talking about. We were discussing the perceptions that people would have, and the questions they would ask, if we looked at the situation through gender instead of race. I disagreed with the conclusions presented and said why. It had nothing to do with what someone is "free" to do, but what facts would color a person's perception in a hypothetical situation, and how the situations may or may not change when gender versus race are involved.

Sorry man, centuries of oppression have made us try really hard to look good in everyone's eyes.
