The traditional Sunday roast beef – with all the trimmings – is the most dangerous dish to cook, according to research conducted in the U.K. by a global insurance group, which ranked beans on toast as the safest meal of all.

British favorite chicken tikka masala was the second riskiest dish to prepare, followed by the "full English" breakfast and fish and chips.

I see that in the pursuit of the sensational they don't bother to quantify the risk. I would imagine that cooking the average sunday roast is not actually that dangerous in the actual scheme of things, so while 'cooking' beans on toast is less risky than cooking a sundary roast this pales into insignificance against say, setting off fireworks

Hey, I'll be brave and admit to starting a fire in the oven while cooking the Sunday roast...except I did it while we were in the US still. I also shattered my pyrex baking dish when pouring cold yorkshire pudding batter into the pan that had hot sizzling fat in it. What a bloody mess!
