I have finally obtained my 10 year green card through marriage to a U.S citizen. I am eligible to apply for citizenship under the category of being married for 3 years. Although I am still happily married with my wife we don't live together.she leaves in north carolina and i leave in connecticut due to work what are my chances that i will be approved for my citizenship.

Send prove that you have a good marriage relationship, bank statements (with both names), car title, car insurance, health insurance, taxes, photos... (all with both your names). Then write in a separate piece of paper an explanation of why you and your wife don't live together due to work and mention about your evidence and if you and your wife are planing to move together if your lease will be up in one of the states. That is so totally judgemental and uncalled for. There are several people who live together and spend almost waking moment with each other and are both miserable. Just my two cents.

Life gets in the way of things sometimes... I have to live apart from MY wife when she is gone with the military, yet we love each other and are married and we dont like being apart. My sister lives in another state than her husband because their jobs keep them apart. They can only be together when they are off work a couple days. My neighbor lives 2000 miles from her husband because of their jobs, yet her husband is visiting this weekend for their wedding anniversary. Dont judge people about things you know nothing about and that is none of your business.
