Your timeline on VJ has no bearing on what is actually happening at the USCIS. It's merely a representation of statistics collected by VJ in regards to completed timelines by other people.

Count on a USCIS wait of at least 6 months, this puts you at Sept at the earliest. After that I suggest the USC spouse make contact with the USCIS to see what is going on, where the case file is exactly, etc... Also at that time they can talk to a congressman or senator's liaison about speeding up your processing time.

Oh I've called they keep telling me we have to wait 6 months and from what I'm seeing a lot of people with i130 are not getting approved lately I see more k1 getting approved everyday n by loads.

Is your case still at NBC or in Houston? That has much to do with what is going on. Local offices all vary.

And you can not conpare a K1 to your petition. It is suppose to be faster.

Wheels my case is at NBC still and I don't know if it will come down to Houston because I still have to submit a waiver i601a since my husband came here illegally and from what I'm hearing that's another 4-6 month wait that's why I'm frustrated /@ science works that is funny but it is true I don't know what USCIS is thinking about that fiance visa they can leave u and what good would it have made you go through a process like that if you probably don't even get to marry afterwards if something happens.

I must admit, I dont understand how the k-1s are well into may filers and the ircr1s are stuck in march/april. This new month better bring a boatload of adjudicators to these visas.

This is actually something I've been wondering lately - rather, why are the K-1 visas typically quicker than the CR-1/IR-1 considering there is already a marriage in place. But, something I've realized is that while people who enter on a K-1 typically more quickly than the spousal visas, and therefore together with their significant other faster, they aren't immediately finished with USCIS for at least two if not three years while after POE.

Either way, I do wish the process was faster. :(

Kashew... I applied for a k-1 last july and it took 6 months before they reviewed it... and another 4 after an rfe to deny it.(applied before meeting in person) Its just for some super bizarre reason they now have k1s processed in 3 months. I swear I believe this process is against my wife and I. :-( I am really praying hard that spouse visas have a huge month in august, they totally slacked all june and july.

How many K-1 filers take the high road after they get to the US???? I'd have to bet quite a few.... Those of us who already got married and made the commitment are getting the short end of the stick IMO. I'm sure marriage fraud is sky high.... But why do we have to pay for all that?? I get so stressed over this wait.

Trust me I understand. Everyday that goes by seem like forever. It's terrible because a lot of us have children that's missing the other parent. I look at my son face everyday and pray that everything will move quick so my family can be complete.
