Hi everyone!!!

I received my AOS interview date in the mail today. I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

I was reading the letter regarding the documents I need to bring to the interview, and I have a doubt about the medical exam.

When I submitted my application we did not send the form I693 I only send my DS 3025 even though it said they were incomplete. am I suppose to bring the I 693 medical exams? what do I do?

Can I get a RFE after an interview date is scheduled ?

Please advice me in everything you can or your experience at your interview, I'm really nervous about all the documents stuff!!!

thanks

You can still get an RFE at the interview itself, but if you had all the required vaccinations and the DS-3025 was filled out properly, you should be fine. The interview letter is a general one used for all. It asks for documents that you did not submit already. If you were not required to submit the I-693 begin with, then you should not need it now. I have seen someone asked to go get vaccinations transcribed onto an I-693, but I believe it was just an IO that did not actually understand the rules and requirements. More often than not I have seen those submitting a proper DS-3025 approved at the interview without issue.

My ds3025 was also incomplete. I was missing a varicella shot so it stated insufficient time interval. I went to a civil surgeon in SF to get the other dose for varicella and got the vaccination part completed from the i693. During the interview, I was asked for it. I suggest to do it. You do not need to take the complete medical since you already did it in Honduras. The cost for the shot was $130 and $50 for transcription btw.

Was your DS-3025 filled out exactly like this? > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/444146-aos-vaccination-records-and-i-693/?p=6401884

If yes, then you did not need the I-693 and should be ok at the interview without it. BUT, as I stated above, occasionally you will get an IO that does not seem to know how it works, and has sent people to get the vaccinations transcribed by a civil surgeon onto an I-695 even when they already had all the required vaccinations. This does not happen often though. People are usually approved with just the properly filled out DS-3025.

You should not need anything else. It looks like you had all the required ones at the time of your medical and the others were marked not age appropriate. It is checked off that you may be eligible for a blanket waiver, so I think you should be okay with just your DS-3025. If the IO should happen to say they want you to get an I-693 for anything, then worry about getting it because you may not need it.
