got my interview date, all MENA,EGYPTIAN ,,HELP!!!

hello all VJ readers,,,, finally ,I got email from NVC with my interview date at usembassy ,cairo , next month , i got approval 5 months ago ,,

i don know

-kind of questions asked in interview at us embassay, for Egyptians or most of MENA countries?

- what are the documents i should take with me?

- what is that i should never mention at interview?

-is it better if my wife be here in cairo at time of interview ? but with risks of security of her .

-my passport will be expired in two months after interview date,should i renew it or that will do?

- do all Egyptian male go through AP ?

You need to renew your passport. It needs to be valid for at least 6 months after the interview. Do it asap!

It doesn't matter whether your wife's presence will make any difference. I would renew my passport just to avoid any problem...that might delayed your visa

Your wife does not need to be there but it does not hurt your case to show her passport during the interview

My husband was asked when the last visit was and he said she is here right now and showed my passport

Bring all evidence sent in already and especially copies of all certified copies--they will only give you the original marriage, police, birth cert, divorce papers back if they have the copies-so bring them copies

Bring more photos and when the CO asks does your mom approve of this relationship say Yes and here is a picture of them together on her last or first visit

Never mention that she is my princess or my queen

Get a new passport NOW- and keep your old one to bring both to the interview. never throw the old one away

Most male Egyptians will go through AP-especially now with the turmoil in Egypt

There are some people still in AP for over 9 months-make sure your wife contacts her congressman after 4 weeks of AP and get him involved
