I made a joke about those two getting an apartment together. She's rumored to be living in Austin. Maybe I wasn't that far off. rofl.gif

I think he could just disappear in San Antonio, though.

I'm assuming he's westbound from looking at a map. Utah possibly? Maybe Phoenix. Sheriff Joe can deputize him.

Now that would be useful - as he's a history of profiling the thugs.

No shyt!

But in a side note to this story...

There has been no federal prosecution

GZ still has a gun(s)

There has been no civil suit (that surprises me a bit, I expected that the Monday after acquittal)

I think GZ may be headed for Disneyland.

Looks like George is in town.

Two weeks after a Florida jury found George Zimmerman not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter in the Fenruary 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin, Zimmerman was in Forney, being pulled over by police there.

According to inForney.com, Zimmerman was stopped Sunday heading west on US Highway 80 just past FM 548. TMZ is reporting that when he was pulled over, Zimmerman told officers he had a gun in his glove compartment.

When contacted by The Dallas Morning News, Forney police would not immediately confirm; they asked instead for a public-records request concerning the incident. KTVT’s J.D. Miles has tweeted a copy of the police report, which contains Zimmerman’s birthdate. inForney.com and TMZ feature different screengrabs from a dashcam video said to stem from the traffic stop. The truck in question appears to have Florida plates, confirmed by the police report.

inForney.com says the officer asked Zimmerman where he was headed. His reply: “Nowhere in particular.”

“Nowhere in particular,” said the officer, according to inForney.com. “Why is that?”

“You didn’t see my name?” said Zimmerman.

“Wow,” said the officer, “what a coincidence.”

According to KTVT-Channel 11, “At some point Zimmerman asked the officer if he recognized him from television, and the officer said he did not.”

Both sites report that the officer ran Zimmerman’s records to make sure he had no outstanding warrants, then decided to cut him loose after five minutes. The officer told Zimmerman to “just take it easy, go ahead and shut your glove compartment and don’t play with your firearm, OK?”

Zimmerman has more or less disappeared since the not-guilty verdict, save for a July 22 incident in Florida involving a family trapped in an overturned SUV.

I'm not sure why, but I have a funny feeling that things in life are not going to end well for GZ. no0pb.gif

I don't care that he had a firearm in his car. He has every right to. I don't really see anyone arguing that.

I thought the "don't you recognize me?" part was way funnier.

Forney police officer to be questioned over Zimmerman stop

The City of Forney plans to question the police officer who pulled over George Zimmerman because the officer reportedly took a picture with his personal phone during the stop.

The Forney city manager told FOX4 the officer is not under investigation, but officials are looking into a claim the officer took a picture of Zimmerman's driver's license.

The sound of an iPhone camera ‘click' can be heard on dashcam footage while the officer was in his squad car calling in Zimmerman's driver's license information.

After that you can hear the 'unlock' sound and typing on the keyboard.

The officer, who has not been named publicly, was not on duty Thursday and will be questioned when he returns to work.

Law enforcement experts say it's not uncommon for police officers to take photos while on duty or take photos to send to supervisors when looking for direction on situations.

The officer could be disciplined if any Forney police policies were violated.

You'll be first in line for that ride. As hero's go, he's definitely a very flawed one but have at it, it's the closest you will ever get to that 'I killed a thug' feeling that you seem to crave.
