Hi guys,

I was kinda busy these days with lots of work trips but luckily, just got an email last night from NVC with the case #.

I haven't got them at all since I got my NOA2 since by the time I realized I have to call NVC, it's too late and I would have to wait for so long on the phone, thanks to the 12 hour time difference between Singapore and US.

On USCIS website, it said that the case was shipped from the USCIS (Nebraska) to NVC on Sep 2.

So it took about 1 month to get a case # assigned. Just sharing....

USCIS Stage

I-130 sent to: Chicago Lockbox (Filed from abroad)

Nearest US consulate: Singapore

I-130 routed to: Nebraska Service Centre

I-130 NOA1: 3 Feb 2014

I-130 approved: 22 Aug 2014 (email)

I-130 NOA2 : 25 Aug 2014 (hard-copy)

NVC Stage

Case No. & Invoice ID No. Assigned: 02 Oct 2014 ( email and mail from NVC)

Thank you for sharing that because we are waiting to receive the number from the NVC. Our USCIS approval was September 16. I'm expecting to receive something any day.

After receiving my Noa2 its been seven weeks and still haven't received any notification from nvc that they have even received it. Have tried emailing them to see what the status is and calling but the lines are so busy. It's very frustrating that there isn't a more streamlined process to follow where the application is at.

We got transferred to texas from vermont on June 21st and got our NOA2 on July 10th.. We received e-mail notice that our case was sent to NVC on July 25th and today I called DOS and we received our case number ! Very happy...Don't listen to the people on the phone from NVC. Call the DOS and you should get your case number about 8 days after they send it to the NVC. Good luck everyone !

We are waiting for 36days for our case number and i keep calling nvc and they will just say they havent received our case.. You mean we can call DOS? Who called there the beneficiary or petitioner? Whats the number?

????????
