Yes, if your child is a citizen. (p.s. The N-600 can only be filed if not born in the America -- there would be no need to get an N-600 if the child was born in the U.S.)

You need to give more information to determine if your son is a citizen. i.e. What status is your son? Where is he living? Did your son live with hour husband in the U.S. when he became a U.S. citizen or anytime after?

Also, even if your son is a U.S. citizen, it is not absolutely necessary to get an N-600. He can simply apply for a U.S. passport at any time.

If your husband's name is on the birth certificate and your son is in the US with a green card then yes your son is a US citizen the day your husband became a citizen.. If your husband's name is not on the birth certificate but your son has a green card, then when you become American he becomes American as well automatically.

If your son doesn't have a green card at all then he cannot become a citizen until you apply for his green card then you can apply for his passport.

If your son was born in the US then he is a citizen automatically. Good luck.
