Unless they've changed things, you need to call to find out when they've been reviewed. There's also the possibility of getting a false checklist.

I called and she said it's under review and that I would be notified once it's been reviewed, so I guess they send out emails now?

CASE COMPLETE AS OF TODAY!!!!!!

Congrats!!

Just called the NVC and our case completed today!!!!!!!!!

YAY congrats!!

Question for those doing EP: Do you get an email after they've reviewed your documents? I got the email saying they received them and to allow 20 days to review them, but I didn't know if I should expect another email saying they've been reviewed or if I'll need to call to find out.

To be honest, I took that email saying that they'd actually reviewed it because I received the IV one 10 days later, then the AOS one the next day and 4 days after that (including the weekend) I had the case complete. :D

Remember, don't believe everything the operators tell you :P Although it could be true, yes, half the time, the operators are talking out their a$$.

congrats jealous in the good way, Did you decided to call or did you get an email and decided to call? also for your checklist did you get an email or they let you know via phone?

I completely understand. I was feeling the same way seeing others on the thread getting their cases complete as well.

I decided to call the NVC and they said the case completed that day (yesterday). I got the email this morning saying the case was completed. Quick turnaround in getting that email based on what I've seen.

I received an email for the checklist item as I opted in for electronic processing since Canada accepts electronic processing. I've been receiving emails for all my notifications from the NVC.

Most EP will get an email checklist for the photos anyhow. smile.png

ain't that the truth !

I even included a pdf'd file of the NVC web page showing that photo requirement was waived for GZO casefiles with the IV submittal.

Tardo's, the lot of them, from the folk doing the review to the programmers that still have that 'check' in there.

The checklist was nice, it included the waiver verbiage also and reminded us to bring the photos.

grrr.

Hello, So I called NVC to see the status of my case. And they reviewed my case but appartently I put the wrong amount in part 6 section 5 for total income. I was checking it and called NVC and ask for a supervisor, and he said that apparently it looks correct that he was going to send it back to get it checked. I was happy but he then said that I also left blank part 6 section 10, GREAT!!!!!!!!! so my question is should I send the revised AOS or should I wait?

Also is there a way that I can write something to get my aos reviewed faster? or theres nothing I can do?

I struggled with this same issue. A few days after I sent my I-864EZ form I noticed one of my figures $ for annual income was slightly off. I generated a new form and filled it out entirely and signed it. I generated a letter explaining the reason for the re submission and I printed out my AOS bar code cover sheet. I called the NVC and was told I could send it and another Rep told me to wait until I received a checklist. I asked for feedback (NVC Filers - July 2013 thread) and based on that I chose to hold off. I chose not to send it off on the chance that they not catch it or give me a case complete or give me the "bring the revised form with you to the interview" response. If not, I have every thing ready to overnight as soon as I get a checklist.

Although, I've seen a couple of VJers send revised forms or missing documents before being asked with success.

It's really something to consider and decide on based on your circumstances.
