Case closed at NVC as of yesterday. YAY!!! Super happy so much joy!!! Does anyone know how long does it take to get notice with interview date???

Look at the dates of others from your country. Your embassy is the busiest on the planet so it my be 1 month to 3 month wait you never know All you can do is wait.

Worry why? They know what they doing really. They mailed mine out a week later. Long as its there interview day should be your only concern and it will be.

You have an interview to prepare for let them do their thing.

Like I said, had a bad experience with the field office not sending our casefile out and had to get Congress involved...so naturally I'm gonna worry when I hear others were sent out day of/day after. But knowing it's not uncomon for it to take a week makes me not that worried now.

Although NVC can tell you when the casefile left their office,

DoS Hotline has more status, between 'NVC left' all the way past interview day.

Once of the status bits you can get, is 'casefile opened' . IMO, that's the 2nd bestest casefile status to know about.

Alternatively, about 9 days past 'NVC left' timetick, you can start emailing the IV unit and ask them about casefile location and status.

I have a question

Got my NVC case # 8-13-14 and the next day the invoice VIA phone both.

Yesterday I log in at NVC to pay the bill, it said not invoice yet

today I try to log in again, and i can't log in anymore.. what does it mean?

I haven't receive any email either ..

I read some timeline that I can send the Ds-3032 choice of agent tru email.. is that allow?

Saylin can I ask there still payments to be paid in the embassy upon interview. I saw this message in travel state

Note: Those individuals who have been notified of appointments, or who have their case number (beginning with the letters SPG and followed by 10 numbers) may check the consular section's interview schedule.

Visa interviews are conducted in the morning by a consular officer after documents intake by the immigrant visa assistant. (Please note that attorneys are not permitted to be present during visa interviews.) The immigrant visa processing fee of USD 355 plus a surcharge of USD 74 per person are payable by cash (either U.S. or Singapore dollars equivalent amount) or by major credit cards.

Since I had that bad experience with the Newark office not sending our file after NOA2, I can't help but be a little paranoid But thanks for the reassurance.

That doesn't sound right.... double check in your regional forum, but that may have been when there was DCF?
