Congrats!

emails to the NVC takes at least 2 weeks.

contacting the consulate when they do not have a casefile for you would be pointless.

NVC reply me back in 3 days regarding expedite request and they forward it to consulate. But it's consulate who didn't reply back. Do you know how long do consulate take to reply back to NVC whether they approved or denied my expedite request?

It's only been 12 days and these things do take time. I'd suggest calling USCIS every day and seeing if the case has been sent out to NVC yet. Once you've confirmed with at least 5 operators that the

yayyy!! Your IV was under review on Aug 7, 2013? My checklist for IV was under review on Aug 8, 2013. I hope my case will complete today.

I will call NVC around 4pm.

Yeah, I sent it the 24th and they replied on August 7th. Hopefully you get a case complete soon, too!

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I think you misunderstood little bit...so here is what's going on.

1. I send a expedite request to NVC and they send it out to Consulate about 10 days ago.

2. But consulate haven't reply back whether my expedite request is approved or denied.

3. I need to find out what can be done at this point. Should I contact consulate? or how long does it take for consulate to reply back?

at this stage, with the casefile still at NVC - you must use a telephone, and call into NVC, getting a Supervisor each time, and inquire about the expedite request.

On Monday (8/12) we got our case complete and my wife's interview date scheduled for Sept. 3rd.

I called the NVC this morning to see if they sent our file to Tokyo and the rep told me it has not been shipped yet. They said it should go out tomorrow or Monday.

Should I be worried or is it normal for them to take a few days to ship it out?

Thank you. When should be a good time to call NVC or DOS hot line to get interview date?

I'm not sure if they're scheduling right now or not. I know a bunch of people got interview dates on Monday, but I haven't seen anyone get one since. Are you going through Montreal as well?
