Thanks so much, and thanks in advance.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I already have case complete so I dont have anything to worry about I just want to be sure

OK. My 2 cents (I'm also electronic filer).

Each time something was noted at NVC, being detached from the email and added to the casefile, I would get this email. IMO, that's all it meant - nothing more. I got several of those along the way, even some after case complete date. Mine's a bit different than most, I sent in a pile of bonafide marriage evidence along the way.

For me - my email submission count = NVC email notice count, for this exact email.

My attorney send my AOS form on July 19 and when I call NVC they keep saying they received it on August 8 and to allowed them 20 business days from that day. But yesterday one rep at NVC in the morning told me they received it on July 25 and is 20 business days from that day and I should have an answer by next week. But every other rep that I have talked to at NVC keeps saying August 8. From reading previous post on here, when they can see something in their system does that mean they are working on it or it just means someone put it in the system and is waiting for someone to work on it???

When I log on to the CEAC visa status check site it still says our case is "at NVC" even though we got a case is complete on Monday and my wife has her interview scheduled for Sept. 3rd.

Should I be calling NVC to see if they sent our information to Tokyo or is it not necessary?

Do you think contacting an embassy consulate directly or email them will help? Please let me know what can be done at this point.

Thanks!!

emails to the NVC takes at least 2 weeks.

contacting the consulate when they do not have a casefile for you would be pointless.
