USPS finally delivered my application to USCIS yesterday. Express mail taking 5 days:((

Well atleast I am thankful that the package is not missing.

Also I just got email from USCIS this afternoon that my I-130 case has been transferred to a local office that has jurisdiction over my case. My PD is August 2012 VSC has anyone else gotten similar email?

Yup. I got that email about 2 weeks ago saying that our I-130 was transferred, I though that would get us a quick approval, but nothing yet. My PD Is March 23 2012, so you can get an idea.

We still haven't filled the AOS yet, we're taking the whole bunch of papers to our attorney today. I'll keep everyone posted.

When you file, make sure you Fedex/UPS your forms to the express mail address for the Chicago Lockbox. USPS delivered my package on August 1st to the regular Chicago Lockbox address (PO Box 805887) and I still have not received any notification. Those who filed the forms to the express mail address around the same time seem to have already received AOS receipt confirmation... Good luck!

Not true always!. I used USPS for my GC and my spouse's I130 and I485 applications. Each time the package was delivered the next day ~11:00 AM.

Feb 06 2013:I-130 PD (Case transferred to Nebraska on Aug 20 2013)

Sep 27, 2013: I-130 approved.

July 31 2013: I-485, I-765 and I-131 sent

Aug 01 2013: USCIS received AOS package

Aug 06 2013: NOA 1 received for AOS

Aug 16 2013: FP notice received

Aug 29 2013: FP done

Sep 09 2013: Status changed to Testing & Interview

If I am not mistaken, the 485 won't go out of initial review until after the biometrics appointment. At least that is how it went for me when I did my AOS. The delay most often in the AOS comes with the background check. I hope that none of you have a common name found in your home country. I did and it delayed my application by over a year because somebody else with the exact same name as me had some legal issues out there. Lucky for me, my wife's name is VERY unique, so there should not be a "false-positive" this time.

Overall, this is exciting to follow. I hope that all of our processes move forward quickly with no delays at all.

Who will be the first to receive their NOA hard copies? Not me, since the acceptance didn't happen until the 2nd, even though it was delivered the 1st. :)

Thank you for the info. I am hoping to receive FP very soon for my wife.My wife name is unique too. So, i hope the background check will be of no issue. Lets see who gets the hard copy of NOA first. I will keep posted all it progesses.

It took a little over 24 hours for me to check my case online. They say that you need to wait until the letter arrives, but most often you can check it before. Keep on checking it. If the letters arrive and you still can't see it, then I'd call. But it should be visible online today. Mine arrived the 2nd as well and I can see the info online now.

hmm.. now I am concerned.. do I just put "MSC1391617055" in uscis.com? I says "couldn't find"..does yours have the same 3 letters?

It took a little over 24 hours for me to check my case online. They say that you need to wait until the letter arrives, but most often you can check it before. Keep on checking it. Give it a few more days. When you have the hard copy in hand and it says the same, then call them. Double check that the three case numbers you received are consecutive as well. Don't worry yet.

We haven't receive any txt or email for our i485 application. Check was not cashed either. USPS delivered it on Aug 1 at Chicago office thru express mail. We did submit an e-notification. I'm starting to get worried. Seems like everyone got a text or email. If I call uscis, can they give me information regarding my application? Or should I just wait a little more?

09/19/2013 - Txt and email notification for interview scheduled on 10/22/2013

09/23/2013 - Received NOA for interview appointment in mail

10/21/2013 - Card production EAD/AP

10/22/2013 - Interview (was not approved on the spot because our I-130 file was not with the uscis local office yet)

10/23/2013 - Received Combo card EAD/AP in mail

02/20/2014 - I-485 status online changed to "card/document production"

We haven't receive any txt or email for our i485 application. Check was not cashed either. USPS delivered it on Aug 1 at Chicago office thru express mail. We did submit an e-notification. I'm starting to get worried. Seems like everyone got a text or email. If I call uscis, can they give me information regarding my application? Or should I just wait a little more?

Same here. Mine was also delivered on Aug. 1. I'm starting to worry, as well. From what I gathered from this and other forums, it looks like most people who send their packages through an express service already received their notifications. Those of us who sent it with USPS to the PO Box 805887 are still waiting...

06/27/2013 - Delivered to USCIS Chicago

07/02/2013 - Received USCIS Acceptance Confirmation email (PD June 28).

07/03/2013 - Check cashed

09/11/2013 - I-130 transferred to Nebraska Service Center

11/13/2013 - I-130 transferred to USCIS local field office (3 weeks after the interview)

11/25/2013 - I-130 Approved

AOS, EAD, AP

07/30/2013 - AOS packet sent via USPS ( I-485, I-131, I-765)

08/01/2013 - Delivered to USCIS Chicago
08/12/2013 - Received 3 USCIS Acceptance Confirmation SMS/emails. Awaiting official receipt notice (Form I-797) in the mail.
08/12/2013 - Check cashed
08/15/2013 - Received 3 NOA's by mail.
08/19/2013 - Received Biometrics appointment
08/20/2013 - Biometrics completed by walk in
09/06/2013 - Original Biometrics appointment

08/27/2013 - Expedited AP Approved / EAD was approved as well.

08/30/2013 - Second EAD/AP card ordered confirmation e-mail.

09/03/2013 - EAD/AP card shipped (USPS tracking number)

09/05/2013 - EAD/AP card received

09/05/2013 - I-485 status online changed to "testing & interview"

09/20/2013 - I-485 status showing the interview date (Oct. 24)
09/23/2013 - Received NOA about the interview appointment

10/24/2013 - Interview (Approved!)

11/25/2013 - First Card Production Ordered e-mail (5:30pm)

11/25/2013 - Status Update: Decision (9:00pm)

11/29/2013 - Second Card Production Ordered e-mail with Tracking # (8:45pm)

12/02/2013 - Green Card Received
