status of I485 changed and got interview date to be Nov 22th.

Now need to start collecting documents for interview. Does any of you have list of documents which are needed for interview? Also do we need to take all original documents or copies are fine?

Also my second marriage anniversary is on Dec 30th. any chance they give me unconditional green card?

Congratulations! Your interview letter will have a list of documents you should take. I only took those that were mentioned there. Take originals and copies both. They would keep the copies but like to see the originals.

I guess someone else can comment about the conditional / unconditional green card.

Just got back from interview. Very simple and basic questions. We got approved on the spot but only bc we asked for the stamp bc of travel. Otherwise, it looked like they wouldnt do it on the spot. Just got a txt around 7:30am EST. Our interview was scheduled on Oct 22 and our local office is in Philadelphia, PA.

Hi guys! Just got back from our interview. We didn't get an approval on the spot because they still don't have my I-130 package. The IO said that she needs to wait for it before she can approve my application. My i-130 just got approved last friday so I guess my file is still with NBC? I was so dissapointed with that but I can't do anything rather than wait again. I'm hoping it will be soon.

Anyway, here's my story!

The IO called us in and walked us in her office. She swore us in and let us sit down. She asked ID's for both, LPR card, beneficiary's birth certificate, and marriage certificate. She checked each document and matched it on our I-485 application. After, she asked for our evidence of bona fide marriage (including those we submitted already). She checked each document again. Then she asked the beneficiary her name, address, parent's name, DOB and all the yes/no questions. Then she looked at our photo albums (400+ pictures with friends and families). That's it! No other questions asked. The interview went very well. I just hope we'll get our approval soon!

Good luck to all those who will have their interview soon! And to those who are still waiting for their interview dates, I hope you will get them soon!

Why they can't see online or y cant they just call to uscis..?

This scares me now..!

I have question. My I -130 got approved on october 7 and I already have hard copy for aaproval notice..!

However, it says in approval notice that they sent my original visa petition to National Visa Center, so do I have to call NVC and tell them to sent my petition to local office or no?
