Congrats FamGC and ramu2012!!

Anyone has gone back from interviews? How did it go?

I dont think so anyone has an interview already..!I think u are the first one who is having interview in this group..!

U are our Guniea Pig..! lol..!!

02/25/201;3: I-130 NOA 1
08/21/2013: I-130 transferred to Nebraska Service Center

10/07/2013: I -130 approved.

9/27/2013: I -485 status shows Interview date November 5th, 2013

10/11/2013: I-765 and I-131 got approved.

11/5/2013: Green card approved

11/5/2013: I -485 status shows card production.

11/5/2013: Status moved back to decision.

11/7/2013: I-485 status shows card production.

11/14/2013: Received green card for 10 years

08/02/2013 - packets sent


08/05/2013 - uscis received


08/08/2013 - email/text for 485/765/131 notice receipts


08/19/2013 - FP appointment letter (scheduled for 09/06)


08/22/2013 - successful walk-in in San Jose office.


09/11/2013 - status for I-485 changed to "Testing and Interview"


09/18/2013 - interview scheduled on 18 Oct


10/09/2013 - email notification of I-765 card production and I-131 post activity


10/18/2013 - interview day, not approved on spot


10/21/2013 - EAD/AP received

really? no .. no.. I recall seeing several people getting interview dates before me..
either way, I will update you guys on my progress.. I have collected hundreds of interview questions and will post if my experience can prove the questions useful :)

08/02/2013 - Delivered to USCIS Chicago
08/06/2013 - Received USCIS Acceptance Confirmation emails and texts.
08/07/2013 - Check cashed
08/09/2013 - Received all i-797C's by mail
08/19/2013 - NOA for Biometrics appointment. Date set for 09/06/2013

08/20/2013 - Successful walk-in Biometrics
08/28/2013 - NOA2 for Biometrics appointment AGAIN. Date set for 09/12/2013
08/29/2013 - Succesful walk-in Biometrics
09/04/2013 - I-485 status online changed to "testing & interview"
09/13/2013 - I-485 status showing the interview date.
09/14/2013 - Received NOA about the interview appointment on 10/15/2013
10/07/2013 - Received Combo card with fingerprint on it
10/15/2013 - interview day. approved on the spot.
10/16/2013 - I-485 status changed to card production
10/17/2013 - I-485 status changed to decision: registered as a permanent resident

Hi, please am stuck here.Can someone help me out. My wife is LPR and wants to send AOS along with our joint sponsor and we are confused on the form to send (I-864, I-864EZ, ...). which is he supposed to submit and which is our joint sponsor supposed to submit.

If you can say YES to the following, you can use I-864EZ

a. I am the petitioner of the family member sponsored in this form

b. I am using only my own earned or retirement income, which is documented using IRS form W-2

c. The sponsored immigrant is the only person immigrating based on the underlying visa petition.

Since your answer for "b" would be NO, you should use I-864

You want to use i-864, NOT i-864 EZ, Your wife (LPR) will ALWAYS be your primary sponsor... and then your joint sponsor is like the secondary sponsor..

Hi guys, first I wish to thank bokar83 for creating this AOS thread for F2A filers. I apologize I have been away from here for a long time due to work.

Looks like I am the first of the August 2013 F2A AOS filers to go for interview. I guess I was the first guinea pig and a good one to be experimented with the F2A cases:))

The good news is I was approved on the spot. Interview lasted less than 5 mins.

My case has brought good news to the F2A category, hopefully all other F2A cases will follow same.

I will be back with details of the interview shortly.

Congrats! Exciting news! I read many posts about the interview. Many of them got both the 485 and 130 approved on spot or next couple of days. Good luck to all of us!
