looks like if we submitted the medical stuff and I864 (with supporting docs), we do not need to submit those again? Do you think we need to bring tax returns, w-2s, etc.?

Feb 06 2013:I-130 PD (Case transferred to Nebraska on Aug 20 2013)

Sep 27, 2013: I-130 approved.

July 31 2013: I-485, I-765 and I-131 sent

Aug 01 2013: USCIS received AOS package

Aug 06 2013: NOA 1 received for AOS

Aug 16 2013: FP notice received

Aug 29 2013: FP done

Sep 09 2013: Status changed to Testing & Interview

Sep 16 2013: Email notification for Interview (scheduled on Oct 17 2013)

Oct 17 2013 Case Approved

how long it takes them to look at the RFE and verify?

Usually, it doesn't take more than 1 week..!

Does your case shows request for evidence review yet? or it still shows request for evidence?

hypothetical question- I filled for i485 and you can see the activity in my signature.

my wife is LPR and she is not working currently. I am currently working on H1B and use myself for sponsor. will That means I have to hold my job till interview finish?

@hysamir, yes. You should hold your job till you get your green card in your hand at least. I recall there being a clause in the sponsorship form. Something like "income will continue from the current source after you become a permanent resident". My case is similar to yours. My wife is a LPR and is currently a student (no income) and I am on a H1B.

You do not have to hold the job as you already applied for adjustment of status. Its the same like for student visa. People who are on F1 visa, they dont have to continue maintaining the status. However, on safe side people keep maintaining their status until interview....!

9/09/2013 - Received notification for I-130 transfer from VSC to NSC

10/18/2013 - Txt and email notification for I-130 approval

10/24/2013 - NOA2

8/13/2013 - Mailed I-485, I-765, I-131

08/20/2013 - Received USCIS Acceptance Confirmation txt and emails.

08/20/2013 - Checks cashed

08/23/2013 - Received 3 NOA's by mail (I-485, I-131, I-765)

08/26/2013 - NOA for Biometrics appointement. Date set for 09/18/2013

08/30/2013 - Succesful walk-in Biometrics
