Hi guys!

My fiance is freaking out as he's mailed me his paperwork for me to put in our 129 package and he's realized that he wrote the dates in european style (date, month, year) at the parts where they ask you to sign and date the forms. The did the other dates, that could be typed in were done correctly.

Will the wrong dates cause a problem? Should he just resend me the forms? (The place he prints out his forms is only open once a week, so it's a bit of a hassle, but not really that big a deal). He wrote 28/7/13, so it's not like they'd mistake the date for the wrong month.

Thank you in advance for any information:)

One would hope this is not a problem. On all of our forms which did not specify a format we used YYYY-MM-DD (as it is the only logical way to write a date; all other means give software engineers a headache).

We were approved.

Probably doesn't matter if it's just handwritten by the signature since that is common in the UK.

Printers are pretty cheap. £34 at Argos http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9085882.htm

£29.97 at PC World http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/printers-ink/printers-scanners/all-in-one-printers/advent-touch-wireless-all-in-one-inkjet-printer-17613177-pdt.html

I can't imagine getting through immigration with a printer/copier only one day a week. The application forms he will mail to London can't be saved with the data entered, meaning he can't save the file and print elsewhere. They have to be printed where you fill them out. If you close them, all data you entered is lost and you start over if you need to make an edit.
