Let me ask couple of questions and I hope you guys will help me.

My friend will be a sponsor for me because me and my wife are both in college and neither of us work. So, I wanna know does she have to fill the affidavit too? And if yes, does my friend (the one who earns enough to sponsor me), check "I am the only sponsor" or "I am the 2nd sponsor" if my wife has to fill it? And if she does, what to put under income? Just leave it blank? And the date on the "unemployed since" - what to put because basically all we did was go to college, and were not employed.

And just one more question:

Under the instructions for I-130, it says that supporting documents should include this:

Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship. (Each affidavit must contain the full name and address, date and place of birth of the person making the affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner of beneficiary, if any, and complete information and details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge of your marriage);

So... should I tell my friend to write that and MAIL IT with the forms OR should I bring it to the interview and NOT MAIL IT NOW?

I believe the affidavit of support is just for the person going through AOS. The permanent resident/us citizen does not need support (he/she can receive food stamps, etc. if necessary, right?).

USC and spouse went through AOS from F1

Now, removing conditions on permanent resident status.
