Any point in filing a K3?

The K3 visa is useless and nothing more than a money making ploy. had I known, I would have simply filed a for a fiance visa at the time instead of going and marrying my wife. Not only that, but it seems that once the K3 is granted and the spouse arrives, an adjustment of status has to be filed and that in itself is costly. Had I filed for a k1 instead of getting married, atleast then I could see the usefulness of paying the adjustment fee of more than $1k. ridiculous.

Personally, I know people want to do this faster, but unless one spouse isn't working and paying for two households, I don't know why you would pay for a visa that costs twice as much. And if it's the foreign spouse who is paying for everything, you certainly should get the CR1/IR1 because then they can get a job ASAP in the USA vs waiting 3+ months for the EAD and spending twice as much.
