since my petition got approved on March i always expect interview on June or July , due to different reasons i just got my interview date on september 13, im thinking may my us entry be if i get approved on the end of september or the first weeks on october this timing will coincides with very important familial event (on october 14) , and would like not to leave in the same time sad.png ,

i would like to leave in the last week of october since my interview is on september 13 to be present in this event

my question is : can i have 1 month and 1 week for ex / end of october , before i leave my country, do i have to reschedule/delay my interview and email the embassy or just on my interview day ask the consul for some time before i leave ? im not sure if this is possible or not ? i have seen they give sometimes1 month on my embassy after the approved interview , thanks for reading ,your advice /input is much appreciated

Guys. The visa will usually be valid for 6 months from the date of the medical, not the interview.

Filed: F-2A Visa Country: Pakistan
Timeline

Well in my case it was from the date from issuance of Visa. Because what if you submitted medical and you get into Administrative processing for 6 months .

Then what will be the case ? then how will you count your 6 months. ? So its been always after the date of issuance of Visa not from the Date of Medical.

Often those people have redo aspects of their medical. It varies some by embassy.
