Baby's name not on birth certificate

Hi, I'm hoping someone out there has been through a similar situation.

Basically, I'm trying to report my son's birth to the US Embassy in Korea, but his name is not on the birth certificate.

The hospital where he was born didn't put his name there and they said that in Korea, they don't put the baby's name on the birth certificate.

On top of that, the US Embassy won't accept the Korean Family Tree document where his name is. So now I have nothing to use

as proof.

Is there a way around this?
