On july 26, 2013, approximately 1:00am(Philippines Standard Time), i tried to check my status on uscis website and it was still oninitial review. I was really upset and became more depressed because ive seen a lot of march and april approvals in vsc. By 7am or so, i woke up, showered and did my usual routine in the morning. I input my case number and continued on my morning routine(putting on moisturizer in front of the mirror) and guess what? When i went back on my ipad to check of its still the same(expecting its still initial review) this is what i read....

Post Decision Activity

On July 26, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I was literally stunned and didnt know how to react, it did really make me cry, i tried to call my hunnie but he was at work and so i just messaged him of the approval. Shocked and stunned but it didnt really sink in to me till sunday of last week(july28). I asked myself, am i really this close of being with my hunnie for a lifetime? I am happy... Last july 19 my dad had to go to Cebu, i didnt want to go but theres something that was really pushing me to go. I dont know if it was just a coincidence or what, i prayed to Sto. Niño and yup after a week he answered my prayers. To tell you the truth, i am not a religious person but i pray. I realized that God is just really fair to everyone, religious or not. You just have to believe and have faith. I hope that those that are still waiting will have their moment soon. Have faith, keep believing and yours will come very very soon.

Thank you my vj family for always cheering me up during the hard times(waiting game); for always believing that there is the best time for each one of us....

[August 2012] Steve visits me again in the Uk for our second meeting for just one weekend! [March 6th 2014] AoS Interview - Passed
[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!
[December 2012] Steve comes to the Uk to spend xmas with my family!
