This is what the USCIS website says. What does this mean? Where do we go from here? HELP PLEASE!

It means you will have an interview. It's a good thing! That means your AOS will be done so soon! You will get a letter in the mail with the requirements listed and the office address.

You can get an RFE at any time, even after the interview, so no. But it does mean it passed the first review and appears complete to the person who has it right now.

hpe u dont wait long after intervew like us. we are waiting one month still no word or change in status. customer service just read whats on ebsite. so i dont call anymore.

I am so thankful we have an interview though! I prayed for one as bad as that sounds because i know people waiting MONTHS without one. So I am thankful for it. Plus its a nice day trip to Detroit for us!

07-16-2013: Biometrics Appointment

07-29-2013: I-485 Ready for Interview to Be Scheduled!!! YAY!!!! (No EXTREMELY Long Wait!)

Not all applications get an interview. Interviews are good signs though because once you are done with the interview, you will know if you are approved for the green card. If you don't get an interview, I've heard people waiting upwards of 10-11 months to get their green cards without interview. I prayed for an interview because that way we know its almost done. I will let you all know when my interview with when I get the letter in the mail.

See! That's awesome! I hope mine is somewhere near that or before even. We'd like to go back to Canada to visit his family for the long Labor Day weekend. Plus it's his mom's birthday and his niece (he is the Godfather) is being baptized. So hopefully we can still go! Congratulations though!!

Thank you.. since when did you check your status from the site.. After 7 days of Testing and Interview status, they gave me already the date.. Status change july 23, 2013, then the date of interview given was today July 30, 2013, 7 days after the status changed...
