Hi there

I've been lurking for a while but this is my first time posting. I am a VSC to TSC transfer.

I received my NOA2 approval on July 19. It says that "The above petition has been approved, and forwarded to the listed consulate. Please contact the consulate with any questions about visa issuance, or if you would like them to forward the petition to a different consulate."

So my question: Does this mean they skipped the NVC step? Or does everyones approval notice say this?

I called USCIS and they told me that I should call the consulate directly. I did. They are closed. Just looking for similar experiences at this point.

I received the same notice on my noa2. Your petition has been sent to the nvc. From the nvc it will be sent to the consulate. I received my case number within a day of being at the nvc and it was shipped to the consulate in two days. It just arrived today and we are waiting for a interview date.

Good Luck!!
