The Guangzhou Field Office has jurisdiction over the provinces: Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Henan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Ningxia, Qinghai, Shandong, Shanxi, Sichuan, Sinkiang (Xinjiang), Tibet (Xizang), Yunnan, and Zhejiang.

The office is open to the public at 8:30 - 10:30am on Fridays. The Consulate is closed on Chinese and American holidays.

Visiting the office in person

Appointments:

''V92'' follow-to-join asylum cases are scheduled by appointment only.

Walk-ins:

Walk-ins are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis during our public service window hours only. Walk-ins for cases other than V92 and adoptions are accepted during public service window hours.

Paying Fees

Fees for applications and petitions are listed on the Forms section of the USCIS website. Payment may be paid to the cashier at the American Consulate General Guangzhou.

There are a number of options available to make a payment:

Cash (with either U.S. dollars or Chinese RMB at the current exchange rate),

Traveler's checks, or

Credit card (American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, and Visa are accepted).

Note: Personal checks are not accepted.
