AOS Interview Worried

We had our interview almost four weeks now. after interview the i-94 card was taken and were told that the file will be sent to supervisor. but also told when we should apply for removal of conditions. practically thats an approval. we were also told that we should expect card in the mail within 30 days but its been 28 days no updates on line , nor text messages of changes etc.

Is this normal. should we apply for Infopass and check whats going on? If u apply infopas, is it the same person that interviewed you who you will meet again? Dont want to make any one angry with us. But waiting is definitely not easy. we want to celebrate but cannot do anything right now.

Please help. we are very worried.

he did not say we were approved but he gave us a form indiaction the period when the card will be effective and when it will expire and when we should apply for removal of conditions 90 days before.

yes go to infopass, it will not be the same officer in the front desk, they are immigration officers as well, but each one working in different field,some giving information, some adjudicating.

May i also add that the interviewing officer said our case was very fast. could he slowing us down?

Don't freak out, there are still 2 days to go in the 30 days you were quoted.

ok. we did not do a change of name. is this a good time to chnage the name since the card is not issued once we aply for infopass or is it too late? Please help. we are planning on aplying for info pass next week

Which local office are you at? I am now on day #40 post interview and still waiting, despite also positive assurances like "you will get your card soon", etc. Just made an Infopass appointment, which will take place on day 50.

All you can do is ask about the name change at the Infopass. If your green card has not been processed yet, you might be able to get the name changed before it is. However, you would have had a much better chance of doing so if you inquired about the name change during your interview. Good luck, and hope it works out.
