NVC received case!!! I have a couple questions

First... Now that we have our case # can my fiance now go do his medical & police clearance? Also do any forms get sent to NVC before they send it to Embassy? I have packet #3 completed n waiting to send to him for interview but when the Embassy receives our case how will we know and is that when we can schedule our interview after paying visa fee? Thank u for ur responses im so excited!!

Also, how many passport photos in total should he get to be prepared for the rest of the process??

She should do her medial examination few days before interview, but police clearance she can do until you wait package 3. She will need 4 photos 2 for medical, 2 for interview...

She is a he.. Lol & i did do packet 3 already... Thank u for ur quick response... The medical however shuldnt b done a few days before as its a 3 day process and takes a couple weeks time to receive sum results if more things such as return immunizations r needed... I know the medical needs to b about 3 weeks out from interview but that was not my question.. I asked can he go do it now that we have our LGS# ? There may b more needed at medical that im missing.. ( ie. letter from Embassy, proof of interview date...ext.) just curious if we need more docs to move forward with medical & police...

Also, isnt 4 passport photos needed for medical? And how many for police clearance? This is Lagos, Nigeria Im speaking of.... Are passport photos required for POE? Just wanna get all at once needed for the rest of process up to the point he is here..

Have you notified the embassy? You need to email them now and in subject line:Case# beneficiary's name

they will send you instructions on where to go to pay Visa fee and tell you how to download the forms you already did and go get police report and medical.

To get things done quicker you need to email them instead of them waiting to email you.

I just attempted to send an email to the Embassy however i got a message saying it failed.. Did i not send to correct email address? lagoslv@state.govforimmigrationvisas.. Is this correct? The (lv) is that a capital i ? Or a lower case L? I put a lower case L

I have no idea what that is the address is. It can be all lower or upper doesn't matter.
