Hate to pop the bubble but he said he would not judge in the context of a priest with gay tendencies who was not active.

I did not see that anywhere, especially given that one of his longtime companion monsignors is a known homosexual, and currently under investigation.

He took journalists to task for reporting on the matter, saying it concerned issues of sin, not crimes like sexually abusing children. Do you really believe that? When I was growing up, the parish widows frequented the rectory. I think they did more than just cook their meals and change the linens. Most priests I meet these days are obviously gay, no longer the cigar smoking, whiskey drinking, womanizing old Micks of the past.

NOw you are getting silly, of course there are priests who like desire men (not to mention young men) but were are talking about the Pope speaking to an issue and it would not be possible for him to give the green-lite to homosexuality.

It would be more possible for a president to just "add another amendment" to the Constitution than for a pope to contradict such a basic teaching.

He in no way suggested there is no judgement on the act of homosexuality.

This is consistent with Church teaching, nothing new here.

The Pope is not infallible, on rare instances his teachings are, the last time when such a teaching was made was in the 50's I believe.

Having a temptation is not, the pope could speak charitably about people who are conflicted with a temptation.

That is all together different than excusing the act.

What about oral and ####### sex between lawfully wed partners? How about wearing each other's clothes to a costume party? Are these activities permitted by the Vatican?

It is understood that the Bible is the word of God... and last time I checked Jesus was part of that God-head.

Anyway ..."child porn" wasn't mentioned by Christ either.
