Hey guys. I'm Jason.

My question is probably a common one, but I just can't seem to find a very clear answer.

We are at the stage of waiting for my interview appointment. I sent my DS-230 pt 1 and 2 in two weeks ago now. But that's all I sent in....was I meant to send in evidence to support this form? Or do I wait to take said evidence to my interview when appointed?

Also....once I receive my police report in the post (I have everything else ready to go, i'm very eager to just get back to my fiancé as we've been waiting for what seems forever to just be together). do I then send in the DS-2001? I have read today that this form is obsolete now?

Am I just to believe that all I have to do it wait for my letter instructing me of my medical booking location and my interview date?

Any help to clear this up would be greatly appreciated! I just want some relief from this stress...thinking that I've missed sending something in or that I could be doing something else they require of me.

Thank you.

For a K1 Visa you don't need to send in part 2 of DS-230. There are however some other forms you needed to have sent. Read this: http://london.usembassy.gov/kprocessing.html

I'm not sure what you'd do now that you've already sent the DS-230. I'm sure someone will be along to advise, but you really should have been reading up about the process before sending anything.Good luck with your journey

Did you just send DS 230? You also need to send DS 156, DS 156K and DS 157.

You also need to book your own Medical exam at Knightsbridge (results take 4 days to reach the embassy if there are no problems).

Read this: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html

And this: http://london.usembassy.gov/immigrant-visas/medical-examination.html

Once the embassy has received all these things along with your DS 2001 and Cover letter stating your readiness to interview, will they schedule you an interview.

Thank you so much Catie-b and Laura!! I really don't know what i could have been reading or even looking at!! I feel so stupid, I read over those pages....*face palm* I think maybe I should just email in another copy of my DS-230-pt1 as all of the files will then be in one place and in front of them....do you think that's a good idea?

Todays job is to get this done!! I really can't believe I missed all of that information!

OK so i've filled out all my forms, just need the photos. Do you think I should send in a cover letter with this pack? I haven't once written my case number on any of these forms as it doesn't request it. Will they know who I am?

Thank you.
