I want to share a little bit of insight on my FIANCEE'S case file movement from NVC TO LAGOS

as soon as i received the the e-mail notice of approval 11-15-06, sent an inquiry e-mail to nvc on 11-16-06

called NVC phone on monday 11- 20-2006 " response we just got your approved petition no case number yes

got a response to my mail on 11-21-06 with the case number but not sent to embassy in lagos

called NVC phone 11-22-06 RESPONSE " Your case has been forwarded to Lagos "

faxed NO2 with e-mail received from NVC with case Number on 11-28-06, did not even wait for the NVC NOTICE STATING THAT CASE HAS BEEN FORWARDED TO LAGOS

Fiacee went to Lagos Consulate to collect packet 3 and 4 on 11-30-06 "She as soon as the lady saw the NOA2 From USCIS, she asked for the case number stated on E-mail sent from NVC inquiry e-mail.

She told me the lady entered the case number into the system, looked at her face and said "you looked different from to the picture we have on our system" after which she gave her packet 3 & 4

on 11-30-06 NVC NOTICE ARRIVED IN POSTAL MAIL 2PM US TIME

5 Sept 2006 Called USCIS for case / IMBRA status

14 Sept 2006 Touched

19 Sept 2006 Touched Again!

23 Sept 2006 Received IMBRA RFE by postal mail (postmarked 20 Sept 2006)

25 Sept 2006 Response to IMBRA RFE sent Priority Mail w/Delivery Confirmation

29 Sept 2006 Rec'd Email stating RFE received

1 Oct 2006 Touched - Same RFE rec'd message

17 Oct 2006 NOA-2 Rec'd via Email

23 Oct 2006 NOA-2 Rec'd via Postal Mail

9 Nov 2006 Email from NVC (response to my inquiry) w/NVC case# - file to Lagos 6 Nov

13 Nov 2006 Received NVC letter via Postal Mail

20 Nov 2006 Fiance went to Lagos Consulate- Interview Date Received

7 Feb 2007 Interview-VISA GRANTED!!! -

12 Feb 2007 Visa in Hand!!! ***Scheduled arrival 23 Feb 2007***

23 Feb 2007 Arrived JFK USA!!!

12 May 2007 Married

23 May 2007 Filed AOS

25 May 2007 Rec'd NOA1
