How do I know when my case left NVC and Receive by Consulate

I wonder how can I track my case when it left NVC and receive by Consulate? My case for wife complete at NVC on July 16, 2013.

Where do u find the case number to enter? Its not the USCIS case # right? It must b one u get from NVC???

First, you need to find out when your package leaves NVC. It may take a few weeks after you get an interview date. After that, you can use DHL's website to track it.

You can either call them everyday to find out or wait until you get the email with the interview date. From my research and experience with others in the same batch as mine, NVC usually sends the emails out once a month to everyone scheduled to be interviewed in the following month in batch a few days after they sent the case files package via DHL to VN. In that interview letter which also states that they have sent/forwarded your files to the consulate in HCM, you can determine/guess the data to input into DHL website provided by previous post. Your DHL info should show a shipment leaving from Portsmouth, MA destined for HCM around the date range NVC typed up your interview letter and NVC sending the email notification.

Once the DHL site shows that the package was signed by US or delivered. You can wait about 24 hours and check with the status using the link at DOS which was provided earlier as well.

Thanks for all your response! I get email notice for Interview Date today July 30, 2013! Just two weeks after case complete at NVC email notice!
