Hi people,

I want to file K1 for my BF. However I have been married before and sponsor my ex-husband a greencard.

Now i asked my ex-husband for his greencrd # in order to fill out item 14 on the form he refused. He said he dosen't feel too comfortable give me the #.

what other option do I have in order to find out his greencard #, what can I do. I trusted my ex-husband so much that I let him keep all the documents and lawyer info with him, now when I need references i don't have a place to look at besides ask him.

Both me and my BF are working 7 days a week. and I am new to my current employer. I can't ask few days off to fly back to marry him, because i can not afford to lose this job due the the I-134. please help me.

Great approeciated!

I guess you mean his A#. In the past I would have said to put 'Unknown' for the answer. However, the new form does not allow for entering anything other than number characters there and the new form instructions state if something is not applicable or none, then leave it blank. Since you do not know the A#, Then leave that question blank. If you want to explain that you do not know your ex-husband's A# on the cover letter or an attachment sheet, then you can do that too.

His lawyer said I can only get I130 I filed before, the rest of information is belong to him.

I tried to call him and receieve no response.

The i129F instruction said if i don't have the information I need to provide secondary evidence..I really need help on this one.

Thank you everybody.

The I-129F instructions do not say anything about not having the information of a former spouse you petitioned. It says if you do not have the primary documentation needed to prove you are a US citizen, then you need to provide the secondary evidence it lists.

Leave the A# blank. Provide your divorce decree and if you wish, an explanation of not knowing your ex-husband's A#. You are not the first person to file without knowing the A# of a former spouse. I am sure you will be fine. Just provide the required documents for the petition to prove you are free to marry and have met your current fiance face-to-face within the last 2 years.

That's a good idea. The old form can still be used, It's valid until September 16, 2013
