I got my NOA2 on May 22nd, and I called NVC on June 6th and was able to get my number, and was told that it had been shipped to Sydney the day before smile.png Once it's been about 7-10 days since your NOA2 you can start calling NVC and pestering them for your number wink.png And you just need the number for the medical, you don't need the actual letter or anything, at least my fiancé didn't. He just gave them the number when he went in for his appointment (Melbourne.) You should be in the clear- I don't know when you got your NOA2, but the people at the NVC were very nice when I called. Have your fiancé call them (so it's not overseas) and then text or e-mail you the number. smile.png

Yep, the number the NVC assigns is the number that starts with SYD that they are talking about :) So you should be good! I'm sure you'll be able to get your number either the end of this week or the start of next week ;)

Pinkinsight, just out of interest, how long did you wait between NOA1 and NOA2? We got our NOA1 in May and waiting for our NOA2 at the moment....

Filed I-130 5 May 2013

NOA1 for I-130 received 21 May 2013

NOA2 for I-130 received 28 February 2014

Filed AOS 24 March 2014

We lodged our paperwork on the 15th Feb, got our NOA1 22nd Feb, 8th July we were approved but our NOA2 is dated 22 July and also when we got notified it is being shipped to NVC.

NOA1 to NO2 is roughly 151 days or 5 months 1 day!

Oh I forgot to add we were transferred from Vermont to Texas on the 21st June.

The service centers seem to be cranking through the applications now though as a lot of the Feb filers are a bit upset that March & April filers are getting approved while they are left waiting. I think it's a bit out of sync but they appear to be finding their rhythm now. I doubt you will have to wait as long as me!

I was a VSC to TSC transfer & mine took about 6.5 months from NOA1 to NOA2

I forgot to add that it took almost 1 month for me to get my case number after NOA2. I was the first TSC transfer on here that got a number though, so I hope that month delay is gone now.
