Can I ask you what is ITIN? and where can I get it ?

It's for my Stepdaughter whom does not have a SSN, eventhough , I 'm applying for AOS in 3 weeks.

Why do you want it if you do not know what it is?

If you still need it when it is time to file your 2006 tax return(s), complete form W-7 and submit it with your return.

But you should have it sorted out by then anyway.

ITIN is Individual Tax Identification Number. You will need to fill a form, W-7, and mail it with the federal tax return to Phildelphia Service Center of IRS in Bensalem, PA along with documentation required for identification detailed in W-7.
