Forgot to list one address

I went through my files last night and realized that I used to live in one address temporarily while looking for a house to purchase. I'd say about 2-3 months (can't remember now), but I forgot to list that one on the N400 form. Do you think that's considered bad moral character for withholding information? What should I do? Should I volunteer to correct that during interview or wait until the IO asks? I am so worried now that this may be a big deal.

This is an easy fix in my opinion.

If you just sent off your N-400 then you can mail a letter to the USCIS Office listed on your NOA with the additional information and make sure to reference your Application Number.

Call the USCIS Customer Service Centre to be safe though.

You can correct this during the interview. At interview IO will go through form line by line and you can mention that during the nterview.

I had Naturalization interview on March 2013 at Chicago and I had made many corrections in form. IO told me, Interview is basically is to make sure all the information listed on form is correct and applicant have listed it correctly.

I know of a couple of people who met with less than pleasant IO's at their interview and they were annoyed to have to make any corrections simple as an address so I just offered another alternative based on firsthand experience of others I personally know.

As you and the previous poster said, definitely the OP can update it at the interview and it shouldn't be an issue.

I would update at the interview. Because of the delicate and regimented nature of the whole USCIS process I wouldn't do anything to disrupt the flow of information while it's in process. The IO will ask you to verify everything you've put in the application on the day of the interview so just let him or her know at that point and they'll update it. In fact how about typing it out on a sheet of paper with all relevant information on it and handing it to them so they can just attach without having to mark the form itself? That's what I'd do.

Correct it during the interview. Bring along a table that matches the application format and write in the corrected addresses, dates of residence, and such. You can hand this to the IO after you have made your oath and you reach that section of the application; or, bring up that you have a correction or two to make and hand over the page. It's much easier to do at the interview than trying to send in additional information.
