I can't figure out what order to do everything, I've sent off for ACPO certificate, shall I book medical now or when it comes back? And once I've booked medical should I send off my notification of readiness for interview or what til I've actually had the medical?.

In London you need your police cert (or copy) to take with you to the medical. You do not say at what stage you are at so its a bit hard to tell. Seems to be a 2 week wait for medical in London. I got my police cert well in advance, waited until my applications showed" in transit" from the NVC and then booked medical on the grounds that they will have my stuff in London by the time I do the medical. Once I am out of the medical I shall bung my DS forms including readiness for interview in the post.

You can send your stuff off before the medical but they will not schedule an interview until you have had the medical. You need to enclose a cover letter with your readiness form etc and it should state the date of your medical.

Yes agree with no bid. It's best to be prepared as to cut down waiting time. I am still waiting to be approved. I am a may filer so hopefully not too long since they are now touching may files. I sent my police forms off 4 weeks ago and received my certificate last week Monday. It took 2-3 weeks so not long at all. Interns of the medical once you have a number from NVC you should be Ble to schedule a appointment for your medical since there is at least a two weeks waiting time for appointments. Meanwhile look online to download someon of the forms your required to send off and make sure your avidavits of support forms are on the way to you from fiance and the tax returns forms for 2 years. This puts you in a good position so you won't be waiting too long. London does move quickly once they recieve your files.

You need your case number from NVC first before you can book your medical. You can phone them and see if your case is with them and been allocated a case number yet.

There is currently a 2 week wait for medicals. You can chance it by booking a medical before actually receiving the PC but be warned that there is cancellation fee if you do not give Knightsbridge Doctors more than 3 days notice that you want to change the date.

I sent all the forms off including the readiness form and covering letter together before I had the medical. It is also important to put the date of your wedding in the covering letter. Even if you don't yet have one planned, put something like 'Our wedding is scheduled for 15 September'. Have you got all your supporting documentation for the I-134 together?

Iv already got my case number and have sent off for my police check, my forms are all ready so I think il book my medical tomorrow and post my forms after that, thanks everyone

Any uk k1 applicants approved and done medical know what immunizations they required and if they needed to update some how muc it cost them to take at the Knightsbridge doctors? I have been to my NHS go to update mine even took pneumococcal and meningococcal and pertussis a few weeks ago. Just wondered if I have left anything else out. I already am unto date with all the hep b vaccines And the have had chicken px as a child so I think I am excerpt for that and measles mumps And rebella is up to date. Polio already done. The only thing I can think that's missing is the flue jab which is not available till flue season. Anyone done their medical in the London and knows what else is needed?

If you have your case number then book your medical NOW because theres currently over a 2 week waiting list ( I called on 26th July and earliest appt i could get was 13th August ).

My case is still at NVC its not yet with London but as soon as it gets to London (which i will track here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx ) I will send out all my DS forms including Readyness to Interview form, they will of course not give me an interview date until after my medical.
