Hi, everyone . It's been a month after my i751 interview . Today I received a mail from USCIS said : This is in reference to your pending application with US Citizenship and Immigration Services. The record shows the biometrics are needed. You are instructed to report any application support center listed below to complete a new set of fingerprints on 8/5/2013.

I have a question , why do they ask me to do the biometrics again ?

Thx

How long has it been since the first BIO was done? It might be that it is beyond what the USCIS considers the validity period for the first set.

Good luck,

Dave

it could be the FBI can not read them,so they need you have it done again.thats the way it seems me.did you have any cuts on your fingers or scars

No, I don't have any cuts or scars on my fingers . The first time seems fine without any problems when I get the Conditional one

Biometrics, once captured, are valid for 15 months. Either (i) you are beyond 15 months since they were taken the first time and so they need to be taken again, or (ii) one or more of your fingerprints was not clear and so the FBI could not process them correctly, so you need to do them again.

If your second set is also not clear then they will RFE you for a police certificate in jurisdictions where you have lived instead of trying again, so two bites of the cherry is all you get with that.

Thx for your info. I think mine is the first case , the first BIO is pass 15 months already, that's why they ask me to do again . Hope after the 2nd BIO the good news will coming soon :)
