Definitely use either UPS or DHL. I have always used DHL and never had a problem. NEVER EVER use USPS because they use Phil Post and I have had friends of mine who went cheap and used them. When an if the packages arrived it was either missing things or damaged. Sometimes the packages never showed up at all. I know it sucks spending a $100 dollar to send there but the peace of mind is great.

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Philippines
Timeline

I sopke with a supervisor at NVC this morning about scanning and sending via emails so papers could be printed there rather than sending a packet.

I was told it 'depends on the embassy', contact them to see if that is acceptable.

But to expect they would want original signatures and that copies would not do...

Just FYI...

-Phil

Thank you. I decided to send the original such as the Affidavit of Support and Letter of Intent to marry. Dont want to have any problems on the day of the interview so might as well play it safe :) Took a long time to get this far so I want to make sure the rest of our journey will be as smooth as possible :)

Will the Embassy accept forms that are copies like the affidavit of support & employment letter?

I know this is too late to help Jay & Jay, but yes. The ONLY original document needed is the I-134. The CO will verify an ink signature. Helps if you sign it in blue ink. That is THE ONLY document we sent over, the rest we scanned and emailed, much faster and cheaper.
