I have a quick question, and i'm not sure if this is in the right forum. My wife's i-601 got approved but when they sent her the green card it didn't have a married name on it. So, we filled out the form for the name change and said it was an error on the uscis part. They received this on november 8, 2012 and we still have not received and thing from them. When we call they say we just have to wait till they get to it. I was just wondering if this is a normal amount of time for this to take?

One thing remember whatever the Name was on the Passport . They will Issue the Visa according to Passport name Not according to any other document . Once the Visa issued according to Passport Name it will be the same name no matter what you do or where ever you run . How i know that bcz i m going through same thing and we spoke with Department of State about that . Just wait when she apply for Citizen .
